On Monday the eggs on the swan plant hatched!!
We now have 4 tiny caterpillars crawling around our swan plant.
Today we named them, their names are - Sparkle, Rainbow, Cutey, and Dragonball Z.

Chunk of the week is "am"
So we got a jar of strawberry jam in Room 14. What could we do with our jar of Jam?
We painted bread with food colouring in milk, toasted it, and then put butter and our jam on. Yum!

10 Day
Yesterday was our 10th day at school this year so we made 10 using our hands. We took turns painting each others hands and making handprints.
Today we used our painted handprints to make a giant centipede. We skip counted in 10s to work out how many legs our centipede has. It has 200!

We made them with the help of our Room 5 buddies. We had to fold them, write lots of "at" words on them, and then decorate.

A monarch butterfly visited the swan plant on Mrs Bloomfield's deck and drank the nectar. While it was there it laid some eggs. The swan plant is now in Room 14 and we are watching to see what will happen next!!!

This week was "at" week, so we painted some cat paintings. Titled- That fat cat sat on a mat.

In Room 14 we have 24 amazing children and Mrs Bloomfield our teacher, with some more additions appearing this week!!!! We are looking forward to sharing what we have been up to throughout the year.
