80 Day

For 80 day we decided to make a special Dinosaur Land with 80 dinosaurs.

We only had 33 dinosaurs in Room 14, how many more would we need?

We worked out that if we had 30 dinosaurs we would need 50 more dinosaurs.

So if we had 33, that is 3 more, so we would need 3 less than 50, which is 47.

33+47=80.


We now had 80 dinosaurs.
10+10+10+10+10+10+10+10=80

8 X 10 =80

Next we made the dinasaur land.

We used 80 blocks for the land.
80 blue shapes for the sea.
80 green popsicle sticks to make the trees.
80 beads for rocks.
80 greencounters for grass.
80 coloured counters for flowers.

Putting the final touches to Dinosaur Land.
