70 Day Our Taonga- treasures



This term the whole school have been looking at our treasures, our taonga.

So for 70 day the Junior syndicate decided to paint a big mural of 70 of our treasures. We had 70 square boards to paint them on.

There are 5 junior classes so each class had 14 boards to paint.

In Room 14 the treasures we have been looking at are our pets, so we painted fabulous pets.

 The rest of the Junior School painted their family, their friends, their special toys, and their own special treasures. Here are our finished 70 treasures.
This weekend our 70 day mural is going to be hung up at school. I wonder where it will be?

    Wow! Room 14 appears to be filled with the most wonderful artists!! Your treasure paintings are absolutely sensational! I can't wait to see the whole 70 day mural.Good job on making such amazing art.
